And I went to Sao Paulo.

(is not the best english)

December the 17th

After a very cool trip to São Paulo, I came to Brasilia. I am like a bit tired because during the days in São Paulo, I kind of didn't sleep too much and because I came directly to my work from the airport.

The idea of the trip was because a national conference that will going to be held in Itapecirica da Serra, a small city about 1 hour from São Paulo. The national meeting called Conal and organized by AIESEC, it tries to get all the Local Comitees of Brazil and some of the Trainees that are now here working, for talking about the year's accomplished goals, the goals for the next year and some conferences that will prepare better the ones that will get the administrative charges in 2009.

It is a meeting of almost 500 people of all over Brazil and 20 people of different parts of the world (Turkey, China, Japan, Greece, Serbia, Nigeria, Mexico, Kenya, Panama, Russia, England, USA, Egypt and Taiwan).

All the trainees where in a single room almost for 4 days, talking and interacting with whole new experiences, which at the end of the event left you with an felling of emptiness in your stomach because all the people you met, probably wont see them again. But still a feeling of happiness, for having the opportunity of sharing so much time with so many special and different people that help you see things in a very different way. I can tell that I lived experiences that change me in a good way, that opened my eyes and that makes me want to live my life in a different way. A life full of rich experiences.

At 5 pm of Wednesday the 10th, I took the taxi that will take me to the airport , where i will meet up with other people from Brasilia who will went with me to São Paulo. Once in the airport, we did the check in, ate something for the trip and waited to board on the plane. We get the last rows of the plane (22), and there where a lot of turbulence during the flight because it was raining, there was not enough time to sleep because the flight took like an hour and half and we where like joking in the plane. Arriving to the city of São Paulo in the night is really cool, because you get to see the majestuosity of one of the biggest cities in the world with almost 18 million habitants. With really tall buildings all made of crystal, nice looking cars, people from all over the world with different styles and ideas.

I have to say that arriving to the city was very calm, we took a cab from the airport to the apartment of our friend who let us stay there for the night, because the next day we should take a metro for going to the public transport station where we will meet some other people that will share the same bus as us to Itapecirica da Serra.

The travel by bus was about an hour, it was pretty calm and there was kind of a cold weather because some tiny rain drops that refresh me. As expected, I slept during the travel, and only woke up in the exact moment my friends where leaving the Bus for buying some drinks for the parties after the conferences.

Day 18.
I can’t finish the write yesterday because I arrived very tired to home and went to sleep. That’s why today I will continue telling my story.

And, just after buying some drinks we took a taxi that will take us to the hotel in which we all where going to stay for the next 4 nights and 5 days. A different hotel, it has horses, pool, lots of green areas, big trees and separated small houses and lots of rooms. It was quiet and calm. Since the moment we got off the taxi, I began to see lots of people, there were only Brazilian people.

20 minutes pass when I saw Clifford, a guy from England I have had the opportunity to met in Rio de Janeiro just a few months ago. He introduced me to Claudia, his friend from Germany, who later on introduces Wang a girl from china. In less than 30 minutes I was talking, a not much practice, English with people from cultures a lot different than mine.

That’s how began an event that change my life, an event that I can tell I enjoyed a lot. An event that just by looking the pictures you will get to understand.

What can I say of São Paulo??? It’s just a city in which I would like to live.
